Sabi comes from the Japanese phrase “wabi sabi” which means “simply beautiful” or
“finding beauty in things that are not perfect.” Sabi is the kind of beauty that can come only with age, such as the patina on a very old bronze statue.  It is only fitting that our restaurant, Sabi, is located in Davidson, NC.  Sabi is more than a word or a name, it is a feeling that

transcends our walls into the community around us.

Alison Henry of Lake Norman Magazine writes, “Its diverse menu, and strong sense of family and community is what makes Sabi the yin and yang of neighborhood comfort and upscale, trendy dining.  It is all the elements of dining in sophisticated city, effortlessly and deliciously executed, without the attitude.”
